Step 2: Make Sure You Are Ready

Autodesk Simulation 360 requires that you have models deisgned using Autodesk® Inventor® 2012 or 2013, Dassault Solidworks or Catia (v4, v5), Siemens PLM NX, PTC Creo or Pro-E and many other neutral file formats.

Step 3: Connect to the Cloud

Autodesk Simulation 360 requires the download of a client onto your desktop.

Log into the Autodesk 360 website and follow the instructions to upload and render.



Free Autodesk software licenses and/or cloud-based services are subject to acceptance of and compliance with the terms and conditions of the license agreement or terms of service, as applicable, that accompany such software or cloud-based services. Software licenses and/or cloud-based services provided without charge to Education Community members may be used solely for learning, teaching, and training in relation to the instructional functions performed by a primary or secondary educational institution or other degree- or certificate-granting institution. Such software and cloud-based services shall not be used for commercial, professional or for-profit instructional purposes.

In addition to the foregoing Terms of Services, the following additional conditions and restrictions apply. Cloud-based services provided without charge to Education Community members may be used solely for purposes directly related to learning, teaching, training, and research and development that are part of the instructional functions performed by a primary or secondary educational institution or any degree-granting or certificate-granting institution or any learning, teaching or training facilities. Such cloud-based services shall not be used for commercial, professional or for-profit instructional or any other purposes.

Students are entitled to use up to 15 visualization and 10 simulation free jobs using Autodesk cloud-based service. Job usage beyond the 15 free visualizations and 10 free simulations may be subject to payment of fees.
