Mechanical SimulationAutodesk® Simulation 360 helps you assess potential points of failure and validate the long-term durability, dynamic response, and nonlinear behavior of parts, such as heavily loaded components in steel and concrete structures. Specialized tools help engineers simulate fatigue, stress, and cracking, which helps identify areas of potential instability or damage. Note: Autodesk Simulation 360 requires that you have models designed using Autodesk® Inventor®, Dassault Solidworks or CATIA (v4, v5), Siemens PLM NX, PTC Creo or Pro-E and many other neutral file formats. Simulation 360 also includes Autodesk Inventor Fusion which can import geometry from these files and simplify it to remove geometry not needed for analysis or easily create new 3D models. Air Flow, Fluid Flow, and Thermal ComfortAutodesk® CFD 360 (formerly known as CFdesign®) can help students better understand patterns of air and fluid flow. Take advantage of advanced tools for computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to better predict project performance, optimize designs, and validate behavior. |
