Course Overview

The updated curriculum is divided into twelve lessons intended to take complete beginners to an intermediate level of modeling and an introductory level of rendering with the Alias family of products.

Each section contains four or more lessons with one design concept covered, using industry examples to introduce software tools or techniques and inspire students’ creativity and enhancing their skill sets.

Exercises & Projects

Supplied in a standard Alias WIRE file format, exercises are provided for each lesson to enable students to engage with the software and develop the individual workflows and techniques learned in the lessons. Projects are also provided for lessons, which are longer and more involved than exercises. Projects provide scope for creativity and customization, enabling students to apply their knowledge of tools and techniques to a variety of design activities, and help them to better understand workflows.
