Revit Architecture 2008 Curriculum

Building Information Modeling Curriculum

Utilize professionally developed lecture notes, student workbooks and datasets that integrate into your curriculum seamlessly to allow you to teach building information modeling and design visualization with ease. Purpose-built for building information modeling (BIM), Revit Architecture software provides a comprehensive approach to building design. Introduce the basic principles of Revit® Architecture technology and the building information modeling approach with the Revit Architecture 2008 – Building Information Modeling Curriculum.

Instructor Lecture Notes

Contains lecture notes that teach the principles of creating a building information model using Revit® Architecture software. Use this document in conjunction with the Student Workbook and Datasets.

Visualization Supplemental Curriculum

Empower students to visualize their ideas and communicate design intent with Revit Architecture and Autodesk 3ds Max®. The Visualization Curriculum lets you build your syllabus your way with six professionally developed units. Students can be a part of the design process from beginning to end by creating animated walkthroughs and photorealistic renderings.

Student Workbook and Datasets

Contains a set of exercises divided into six units that cover the basic workflow of transferring architectural designs from Revit Architecture into Autodesk 3ds Max with the goal of adding organic modeling, animating and rendering the project. The emphasis of the exercises is on workflow rather than on the tools themselves.
