Carnegie-Mellon - Special Topics in Introduction to CAD and CAE Tools Curriculum
This highly commended curriculum was used to teach a popular course at Carnegie-Mellon University. Delivered online as well as through local materials, the course takes students through the entire design process, beginning with conceptual sketching, then moving through part and assembly modeling with detail drawings into increasingly more complex analysis. The learning tools that support the 12-week curriculum include presentations, instructor notes, videos, exercise guides, and datasets. Developed as individual sections, this content can easily be incorporated into existing courses, or used to create new courses.
