wow. i really am delighted at your reply. and i am guilty as charged. yes! as you said, i somehow managed to make these 3D pictures using 3ds max. i find it boring to read instructions using a tutorial. i just made them as i thought it will interest people a little more to look at these and see how a final product might be. back home, i do have pencil sketches too and i do draw pretty well even if i do say so myself. thank you for your reply. do keep in touch and please pass on any advice that u think might help. thank you.

Hi Devraj, i just saw your work by chance and thought i could comment it. So you want to study industrial design ? then your 3d abilities are an ok start. but for an application at a design school, drawing skills are most of the times more important than final 3d work. you don´t have to sketch like a champ and go for the looks, but u have to think on paper. your 3d stuff is not bad, but still a little undefined. the thoughts and work that went in it dont look sooo finished. thats why you should think more about the object, e.g. in sketches or small physical models, they could be made of cardboard or something. by the way, i like your shelf the best, it could be produced without a problem and depending on the chosen material or fabrication could be a nice piece of design furniture.... the finger mouse looks like you struggled with the shapes in 3d, which IS difficult. and it doesnt communicate so well. also regarding materials.. so, a bit more sketching an a bit more thinking to back your 3d work up. you have potential, you´re not ONLY daydreaming. but dont concentrate on 3d so early... work the pencils for your application. but pursue your own projects, cause u do have ideas ! regards
