Office Building
By Andy on
Product: Autodesk Revit Architecture
An entrance to an office building that I've been paying around with for years. Revit finally made it possible for me to draw it quickly and efficiently. The lights were all custom made and worked fairly well.

Jove well done! The atmosphere is very dramatic.

I will build a foundation that is about 3.5' off the ground and then build the floors around it to create that effect. Maybe some topography to add to the effects. The lights are very modern and would blend in well with urban cultural settings such as Dallas, New York, or Boston.

The outdoor steps were simply floors the thickness I needed and offset from each other. I didn't feel like messing with stairs for that shape. I'm sure it could be done, and I might look into it when I get around to placing handrails, we shall see. I just threw it into 2009, so now I have to go back and re-do everything that didn't transfer over.... like my cool stair lights.

Very cool Andy. I love the lights that were built within the steps. How do you design the outdoor steps??
