micro gas turbine jet engine

Firstly this design is a micro gas turbine jet engine. Our intention is to redesign combustion chambers for the engine such that heat build-up is significantly lowered. We are currently looking at multistage turbines and compressors (increse in power deve

Perhaps you might make a hi-bypass engine, like those used on current commercial aircraft, so that the propulsion comes from the compressor, not the turbine section. That way the bypass (cool air) provides the propulsion, and the turbine section merely adds energy to the compressor which acts like a propeller, albeit a giant fan section. Then the core of the engine would be smaller than on your axial flow design

Designing a turbine engine for model aviation that has less heat build up would make the fuselage lighter by reducing the insulation needed within a composite airframe. This was a good idea, I will look into it further.

This could be a lot more interesting if I could only figure out the flow dynamics through the engine.
DWF file helps a lot but I'm still missing something here in the volume/density/velocity area.
