SSN 774 Virginia Class Fast Attack Nuclear Submarine

A team of 4 2nd year students in worked in conjunction with two US Navy Submarine Officers as mentors to recreate a full scale SSN774 Virginia Class Fast Attach Nuclear Submarine. The Project took 18 weeks, contained over 29,000 files in the final assembly and had over 2,600 man hours in the design. The Sub was modeled in the same way that it is actually being built today. This was a block two version of the SSN and the US Navy is currently producing the Block 3 variant. There are a couple Videos on YouTube if you search nrcadman. We used, Inventor Professional(2011), 3Ds Max, AutoCAD, Showcase and Premiere.
